2010 Silver Maple Leaf Coins

 

The Royal Canadian Mint's bullion products are universal symbols of innovation, ingenuity and excellence. At the heart of their distinctive line of bullion products is the collection of Maple Leaf bullion coins in gold, silver, platinum and palladium - all guaranteed by the Government of Canada for weight and purity. Minted annually since 1988, the silver Maple Leaf coin contains one troy ounce of .9999 fine (“four-nines”) silver, making them the purest one-ounce silver coin produced by any government anywhere in the world. It is a legal tender coin with a face value of five Canadian dollars and holds the distinction of having the highest face value of any one-ounce government backed silver bullion coin. This coin measures 38mm in diameter and is 2.87 mm thick.
