The latest release in the Chinese Lunar Calendar series honors the Year of the Dragon. This one thousand shilling coin struck under license in the USA measures 39mm in diameter and is minted from 1 oz of .999 fine silver. The design features an ornate image of a dragon, the fifth creature in the Chinese zodiac. People born in 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988 and 2000 are said to be confident, enterprising, independent, self assured, brave and passionate.
