2011 Special Five-Coin American Silver Eagle Set - Low Mintage - Top Seller
At the time of their release in 2011, the only American Silver Eagle coin that had a lower mintage was the famous 1995 W struck at the WestPoint Mint. That coin sold at auction in March 2013 for a record $86,654!
Coins released for anniversaries are popular with collectors and also serve to create awareness of and interest in a coin series.
These 2011 25th anniversary Five-coin Silver Eagle that sold out in under five hours of their release have several attributes that make them highly desired among enthusiasts. This coin collection contains two coins that were exclusively sold by the U.S. Mint and only available to the public through the purchase of these sets. They were the 2011 Reverse Proof coin struck at the Philadelphia mint, and the 2011 S Burnished Silver Eagle, the first burnished coin Silver Eagle struck at the San Francisco Mint.
This exceptional American Eagle Silver Five-Coin Set is an exquisite collection that captures the essence and beauty of these cherished coins – in stunning Proof, Reverse Proof, uncirculated and bullion strike minted by the Department of the Treasury, United States Mint facilities at West Point, San Francisco, and Philadelphia.  The 3-Mintmark coin set contains one each of the following 2011 dated coins:
American Eagle Silver Uncirculated Coin – Mintmark: “W” (West Point)
American Eagle Silver Proof Coin – Mintmark: “W” (West Point)
American Eagle Silver Reverse Proof Coin – Mintmark: "P" (Philadelphia)
American Eagle Silver Bullion Coin – No Mintmark
American Eagle Silver Uncirculated Coin – Mintmark: “S” (San Francisco)
The sets were limited to just 99,882 complete collections! – A very low mintage given the importance of these coins. ANACS has done a great job certifying the coins and showcasing them in bright red holders and creating a unique 25th-anniversary hologram label just for these sets. From a collectible standpoint, ANACS has confirmed 75% fewer collections than NGC and 50% fewer collections than PCGS.
When the Five-coins are lined up side by side in the custom display case, the contrast between the coins is stunning. These sets are destined to become family heirlooms that will be passed down proudly from generation to generation.
