United States Mint America the Beautiful Quarters
Beginning in 2010, the United States Mint will issue 56 quarter – dollar coins featuring designs depicting national parks and other national sites as part of the America the Beautiful Quarters program. Five coins will be released each year in the order in which the honored site was first established as a national site. The first five quarters to be released in 2010 will honor Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas , Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming , Yosemite National park in California , Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona and Mt. Hood National Forest in Oregon . The U.S. Mint are also issuing giant silver bullion quarter coins. These coins will measure 3 inches in diameter and will be struck from 5 troy ounces of .999 pure silver. These silver bullion coins are aimed at both the investor and collector market and will be hallmark stamped with their exact weight and fineness on the edges of the coins. These  hefty silver bullion coins  have the same design and face value as the regular issue America the Beautiful Quarters. These unique silver coins will be issued under the name America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coin program.
