Peace Dollars
Enhance the quality of your coin collection with our hand picked selection of Peace Dollars. These specially selected coins are certified by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC®) and have been individually hand-signed by Kenneth Bressett.
Mr. Bressett is the long term editor of the Guide Book of United States Coins, commonly known as the “Red Book”, 24 million copies sold. He is one of the most famous numismatic researchers and writers of all time having published numerous books and articles in his more than 60 years of involvement in the hobby.
Peace Dollars were minted from 1921 to 1928, then again in 1934 and 1935. Designed by Anthony de Francisci, the Peace Dollar was so named because the word PEACE appears on the bottom of the coin's reverse. It contains 0.77344 troy ounces of silver, and was the successor to the Morgan Dollar. Peace Dollars were the last silver dollars minted for circulation in the United States.
